This site is an unashamedly non-party political and resolutely non-sectarian blog for those who want to discuss the real issues in election 2007.

Why are we doing it?

On 12 February 2007, at an Election Question Time event, NICVA began a discussion between voluntary and community organisations and political parties on the bread and butter issues that concern us all - we want to continue that level of engagement in this blog. As the publishers of this blog, we recognise that we have responsibilities and we will not share all the views expressed, but we want to encourage open participation from across the political spectrum.

Get involved

We’d love this to be an honest conversation about the issues, not about political personalities or the rehearsal of sectarian positions - if you’re interested in that, there are other on-line places you can go to air your views.
