Sluuger O’Toole in partnership with Stratagem launched the first of a series of policy panel discussion, on blogtalkradio eariler today. It was a politician free zone, bringing together group of people together who have a serious, depth knowledge of given areas, who, in conversation with one another, will sketch out precisely the kinds of challenges that lie in front of our future ministers on the very first of taking up their briefs

- Ciaran Rogan of Translink;
- Noel Williams of the Energy Saving Trust; and
- Jim Kitchen of the Sustainable Development Commission.

We live on a bountiful planet, but not a limitless one. If everyone in the world used up resources at the same rate as we do in Northern Ireland, we would need three planets. We need to move from this ‘three-planet living’ to ‘one-planet living’, the real goal of sustainable development.
